We start from the most basic ideas. We don't just memorise results; we understand the concepts behind them. We stay curious, asking how ideas connect and which basic ideas they come from.
Number lines, graphs and movable shapes accompany the explanations of algebra, functions and geometry.
How does a force change motion, and what rules describe light and electricity? The models connect what we observe with quantities we can measure.
Enter PhysicsSee how atoms join into molecules, and when a substance reacts and when it does not.
Enter ChemistryA program breaks a problem into instructions that the computer’s hardware can carry out.
Each lesson begins with a question you might want to ask, for example: why is the slope of x² equal to 2x, or what holds the protons in a nucleus together? We keep that question in view, so you always know what the next step is for.
Next, you change one quantity while everything else stays fixed. You might want to drag a point, or play a process one step at a time. When only one thing changes, you can see exactly what it does to the picture.
Finally, we explain what you saw. The working is shown next to the drawing, so you can check each step yourself rather than simply remember the result.
If a step still does not make sense, write it down in the forum together with what you have tried so far. You can add formulas, function plots or the model you were using, and we can start from there.
