User-Generated Content Agreement
Last updated 14 October 2026
This agreement covers content submitted by users and the limited permissions needed to operate AxiOstra. Users retain their rights; public posting and private-message delivery have different visibility and licence limits.
1. Content and responsibility
User-generated content includes posts, articles, comments, replies, profiles, files, images, reports and private-message submissions. The AxiOstra Operator is identified on the About Us page. This agreement supplements the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy.
You retain the rights you hold in your content. Submit only material for which you have the necessary rights, permission or legal exception. Consider confidentiality, privacy, consent and the rights of people shown or described, especially children. A copyright licence is not a substitute for a lawful basis to disclose another person’s personal information.
2. Limited operational licence
By submitting content, you grant the AxiOstra Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, worldwide only to the extent required by the service’s hosting and delivery, to store, reproduce, format, transmit and display it as reasonably necessary to provide the function you requested, secure the service and meet legal duties. Technical formatting may include image resizing, document display and compatibility conversion; it does not permit unrelated alteration of your meaning.
Necessary infrastructure providers may carry out these operations on behalf of the AxiOstra Operator under the corresponding limits. The permission does not transfer ownership, permit unrelated advertising use or authorise sale of your content. It does not grant permission to train or fine-tune an AI model on your submissions. Any proposed additional use requires a separate lawful basis and any required permission or consent.
3. Public submissions and private messages
Public submissions may be displayed to visitors and may be indexed, quoted, copied or captured by others. Public visibility does not grant every visitor an unrestricted republication licence. Attribution, lawful exceptions and third-party rights still apply. Avoid posting information you are not prepared to make public.
Private-message permission is limited to encrypted storage, delivery to intended participants and related requested features; it does not authorise public publication. The service processes delivery and account metadata but does not proactively screen private-message plaintext through the public-content word lists. Recipients can retain or disclose their own received copies. Evidence voluntarily supplied with a report is separately processed for that report, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Editing, deletion and retained records
Available controls permit authors to edit or delete posts and articles, subject to account restrictions. Deleting a post also removes associated comments and reactions. Individual comment deletion is not currently self-service; requests may be emailed to [email protected]. Operator removal clears the comment body but retains an empty placeholder and reply relationships. Account deletion follows the Privacy Policy.
After removal, the operational licence continues only as necessary for restricted recovery backups, proportionate moderation or dispute records and legal obligations, subject to applicable retention limits. It does not authorise new public publication. Deletion or private-message withdrawal cannot recall copies already captured by recipients or independent third parties. The Privacy Policy describes active records, uploads and backup retention rather than promising instantaneous erasure everywhere.
5. Moderation and corrections
Content is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. The AxiOstra Operator may remove or restrict content when reasonably justified by a rule violation, substantiated rights concern, security risk or legal obligation, considering context and proportionality. A report or automated match alone does not establish liability. Reasonable notice and review will be provided where practicable and lawful.
Corrections, criticism and appeals must remain accurate and respectful. Account penalties may be appealed through /appeal; content-removal concerns may be emailed. Copyright-specific requests follow the DMCA and Copyright Notice page. Internal review does not remove statutory remedies or court access.
6. AI-assisted submissions and liability
Users remain responsible for checking material they choose to submit, including AI-assisted text, code, references and images. Disclose substantial AI assistance when relevant to avoiding misrepresentation or when required by an assessment or publication rule. Do not fabricate sources or present simulated results as actual observations.
The AxiOstra Operator remains responsible for its own actions and applicable platform duties. This agreement does not make users liable for every third-party action regardless of fault, require an unlimited indemnity or waive mandatory rights. Questions about permissions or a submission can be sent to [email protected].
