AxiOstra provides supplementary educational explanations, visualisations and interactive models. This statement explains their practical limits and safe use, especially in schools. It does not exempt the AxiOstra Operator from legal responsibility or replace duties that the law makes mandatory.

1. Educational purpose and scope

The AxiOstra Operator identified on the About Us page provides a free educational service. Materials are intended to support understanding, discussion and practice. They are not an accredited curriculum, a certification programme, a laboratory operating procedure or individual professional advice. No examination board, school or other institution is represented as approving the site unless a specific, verifiable statement says so.

This statement applies to explanations, worked examples, answers, software, downloadable material, simulated instruments and community features. A particular page may state additional scientific assumptions or limitations. Such statements supplement this notice and must be considered when interpreting the result.

2. Substantial AI involvement and human responsibility

The teaching approach and visual or interactive plans are proposed by the AxiOstra Operator as a human contributor. Because production staffing and practical production resources are limited, actual text, code and visual implementations rely heavily on generative AI. Human direction and revision do not mean that every sentence, derivation, citation, visual relationship or software result has been independently validated by a qualified subject specialist.

AI can produce plausible but false statements, invented references, invalid derivations, misleading diagrams, biased explanations and software errors. These errors may be subtle and internally consistent. The AxiOstra Operator remains responsible for publishing and maintaining the material and for duties imposed by law, but may fail to identify misleading or hallucinated content despite review. AI involvement and limited resources are disclosures of risk, not a transfer of responsibility to the AI provider or a release from the duty to exercise reasonable care.

3. Accuracy, assumptions and simulated results

Explanations may omit advanced conditions to introduce an idea, and models may use idealised forces, discrete numerical steps, arbitrary colours, altered scale or illustrative values. A realistic material or animation does not establish that the model is a literal microscopic observation, a calibrated instrument or a validated engineering simulation. Use the stated units, assumptions and parameter ranges; an output outside those conditions may be invalid.

A convincing animation is not a mathematical proof. Numerical agreement in selected examples does not establish a general theorem, and a visual correlation does not establish causation. Before relying on an answer for assessed work or a consequential decision, compare it with the relevant syllabus, an authoritative source or an appropriately qualified teacher. This checking advice complements, rather than removes, the AxiOstra Operator’s responsibility for the material.

4. School use, supervision and assessment

Teachers and schools should review the relevant material before assigning it, assess age suitability and accessibility, explain its limitations, and provide a way to question or correct it. A demonstration, school recommendation or link is not a guarantee of institutional endorsement or compliance with a particular curriculum. Progress markers and model outputs are learning aids, not secure assessment records or evidence of a qualification.

AxiOstra does not currently provide a school-managed student-information system or an independently verified parental-consent process. School use does not override account eligibility, privacy requirements, safeguarding duties or local procurement rules. Do not require a child to disclose unnecessary personal information, upload identifiable school records or misstate age. Where institutional arrangements or lawful consent are required, they must be established before the relevant use; a teacher’s recommendation alone is not a substitute.

5. Virtual laboratories and physical safety

Virtual chemistry, physics and biology activities are not instructions to reproduce an experiment in an uncontrolled setting. They may omit protective equipment, exposure limits, failure modes, waste disposal, electrical isolation, biological containment or emergency procedures. Screen behaviour does not establish that the corresponding real procedure is safe.

Do not use these models alone to select chemical quantities, electrical ratings, structural loads, equipment settings or biological procedures. Real experiments require an appropriate risk assessment, approved instructions, suitable equipment and competent supervision. Children must not infer permission to handle chemicals, heat, electricity, moving machinery or biological material from access to a virtual activity. Stop an actual activity if conditions are unsafe and follow the responsible institution’s safety procedures.

6. Health, genetics and other consequential uses

Biology, genetics, DNA fingerprinting and health-related examples explain concepts. They do not diagnose conditions, interpret an individual’s test, determine parentage, identify a suspect or establish legal or forensic evidence. Demonstration profiles and probabilities must not be treated as validated real-person findings. Do not upload real genetic, medical or sensitive personal records for public interpretation.

Likewise, mathematics, computing and engineering examples are not certified tools for structural design, financial decisions, safety-critical control or legal advice. Consult an appropriately qualified professional where the decision requires it. For an immediate danger or medical emergency, use appropriate local emergency services rather than the forum, private messages or feedback mailbox.

7. Computing, downloads and availability

Computing examples may require adaptation and may contain security or compatibility defects. Inspect code and understand permissions before executing it; use an authorised, isolated practice environment and preserve important data. Do not apply an example to a network, account or device without permission. Educational discussion of a technique is not authorisation to access a real system.

The service may be unavailable or change during maintenance, faults or security incidents. Keep independent copies of your own important submissions. No uninterrupted access, fixed response time, error-free operation or fitness for a particular assessment is promised beyond express commitments and obligations that applicable law imposes.

8. Community content and external resources

User contributions express their contributors’ views and are not automatically reviewed or endorsed before publication. A badge or a visible post does not certify accuracy, qualifications or safety. Moderation reduces certain risks but cannot guarantee detection of every harmful or misleading submission. Private-message encryption protects message delivery but does not establish the reliability of the sender or content.

External links and cited resources can change, become unavailable or have their own errors, terms and privacy practices. Their inclusion is for reference and does not create a partnership or transfer responsibility for the AxiOstra Operator’s own selection or representations.

9. Reporting errors and corrective action

Report a suspected factual, mathematical, visual or safety error to [email protected]. Include the page, the disputed statement or model state, relevant parameters and any supporting source. Do not include passwords or unnecessary personal information. The AxiOstra Operator will assess sufficiently specific reports and, where warranted, correct, qualify, temporarily withdraw or remove affected material.

A report does not guarantee an immediate response or a particular outcome. Where an error may cause serious harm, do not continue relying on the disputed instruction while awaiting review. This advice does not place the burden of identifying every defect on users or waive an available remedy.

10. Legal responsibility and preserved protections

Responsibility and any remedy are determined by applicable law and the facts. This statement does not exclude the obligation to exercise reasonable care, liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or negligence where exclusion is unlawful, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. It does not exclude any mandatory consumer, child-protection, data-protection, intellectual-property or other duty.

No zero-value liability cap arises because the service is free. No user is required by this statement to indemnify the AxiOstra Operator without limit, waive a statutory remedy, surrender access to a competent court or accept that every risk is solely theirs. A description of a limitation is not permission to make misleading claims or ignore a known serious defect. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory protection, that protection prevails.
